Designing belts, handbags, shoes and jewelry requires the skills of a specialized fashion designer called an accessory designer. Accessory designers need at the minimum an associate's degree, but can pursue a bachelor's or master's degree.

Students learn the latest technology in the field, incorporating print and electronic resources, as well as the materials used and the latest fashion trends. Course Duration: The Diploma runs over 96 weeks plus holiday breaks, which vary for each intake. During the first year of study you will attend 4 days per week from 9.00am - 3.30pm (with a half hour lunch break). In the second year of study you will attend 3 days per week from 9.00am - 4.30pm.
